CityStore Self Storage always put the health of both our customers and our team first while supporting the many people and businesses in our local community that rely on us for their storage needs.
As per the government advice self storage centres like ours will remain open as we provide an essential service to many key supply chains that are necessary in the battle to contain the spread of COVID-19.
CityStore provide storage for the many businesses that continue to operate, such as online retailers, schools, people in construction, trades, accountants and other professional services. We understand that many of our customers will continue to need help at this time, both existing customers and others who find themselves in need of essential storage during the many challenging situations being created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Self storage centres do not attract large amounts of people, but we have made further changes to ensure social distancing. In most cases only one person will be in the same room or area of the storage centre at any one time.
We are advising customers where possible to minimise visits in accordance with the government restrictions on travel. They should observe social distancing and hand hygiene in line with government guidelines while in storage centre.
CityStore have also increased our cleaning and sanitising programme on the surfaces used by customers. These measures, if observed correctly, should ensure risk of transmission is minimal.
These are challenging times so if you have any questions please contact us. We are open for those that need us.
Please note opening hours are currently as normal but may be subject to change at short notice.

The spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) throughout the world, has raised questions about business continuity.
CityStore are aware many of our customers access our self storage centres regularly, particularly for their own businesses, so we are very conscious we need to take any disruption very seriously.
We would like to assure you that we are closely monitoring advice on how we should deal with the virus, and we will do whatever we can to reduce its impact.
For the time being we are carrying on business as usual.
Our storage centre teams are paying special attention to cleaning surfaces regularly, particularly door handles and our security access keypads.
In the event official advice changes; it may become necessary for our staff to reduce person to person contact. In this case CityStore has the ability to operate the majority of access and security systems remotely, so we intend to keep the storage centre open hours unchanged.
If we are forced to change our storage centre opening hours, for any reason, we will give all our customers as much advanced notice of any changes as soon as possible. Our phone systems will remain manned during our normal operating hours and will be redirected to staff working from home if necessary.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss the situation in more details please contact us.
Kind Regards,
CityStore
